and so, we bid farewell to 2009

it seems that the years keep passing by faster and faster. it's like God decided to hit the fast forward button like what i would usually do while playing the Sims. (yes, i still play that game once in awhile =P) it was just like yesterday when we celebrated Chinese New Year and i seriously have no recollections on my 22nd birthday. 2009 has been like a mush.. i can vaguely remember bits and pieces to it but it's just all somewhat mushed up. bad year i suppose.. lol this year has been an exceptionally fast one, but i'm looking forward to 2010!

well, not the part when i'm in uni of course.. this would be the first time i'm actually looking forward to be done with uni. i hate the place and seriously have regrets going there. people are still asking me why did i chose to go there. i used to find joy in explaining to them cos i knew what were my priorities back then. but now i come to realise how silly i was. i guess when we're young, we tend to mix up our priorities. that's when parents come in to help sort them out, but being the rebel we were, we never listened. i'd just have to make the best out of the final semester then. a challenge for the new year.

so a lil sneak peak of what i'll be going through in the coming year. i'll be undergoing my internship training in OSK investment back home in penang. funny thing is dear soochie's mom was the one who was handling my application. penang is seriously tiny.. lol i just cant wait! it'll be a whole new experience. learning new stuff and meeting new faces =)

next on the to do list in year 2010,

• go new places! whee~ =)

till then, time to prepare my resolution list!

was having some free time in my hands so i thought i would just have a peek at how my friendster account is holding up. lol.. i know.. friendster is like so old school now.. but then again, i guess we grew up through the days of friendster. i browsed through all my testimonials and boy, did it bring back loads of memories.. just to highlight the few stuff my dearies wrote about me which i find it amusing.. there are a number which are really nice but i find these few just hillarious.. so yea, i finally baked my first batch of cookies. not bad tasting though i still prefer famous amos's chocolate chip cookies!!! i'm telling you, i think they put opium or poppy seeds or something innit. i keep craving for them.. LOL

update 20/12 : i snipedy n coloured my hair.. sigh. not so chio anymore.. = (( oh well, it's just one of those things i do before Christmas.. i'll have to wait for it to grow again n do something with it next year.. lol

Last Christmas, i gave you my heart

Christmas is just around the corner! this time, to really spend it properly with my close ones, both family and my girls. nothing more to the festive season spent with people who cares most and will be there whenever you need them. =) though i do wish the other girls would be around this Christmas cos i bet it'll be great! <3

time to hit the kitchen again n set in the mood for Christmas!

Day 2

surprisingly, i feel so much better today! i no longer feel the pinching pressure of the barbells against my tongue. i even tried to eat solids. well of course i still cant really chew them properly n it hurts badly each time the food moves around the piercing, causing friction to the wound. but still, cant help it.. hungwee.. i dont think i can really survive on a liquid diet.. T_T

cant wait till it fully heals! then i can change the barbells to something more.. 'bling'? lol

oh well, the belly will have to wait. and yes, i have a thing for piercings.. it goes with my mood/stress level as well.. lol

i think i'm going to be one of those idiots who might just play with our tongue piercing unconsciously while we talk. so do bear with me. haha

i did it.

after having the urge to do it a week n a half ago, i went on to get it done.
apparently it doesnt hurt as much as it looks like through the vids u see online. all piercings are somewhat the same. it just takes a few seconds n u're done! sadly, they didnt allow me to take any video of it. sigh. but still, no regrets here baybeh!

so now i'm on a cold liquid diet! well, till it heals that is..

okay, so it's either i'm getting damn gorgeous by the day or our island is starting to be overpopulated with desperate men.

so, as i was walking back to my car after work, some guy probably in his late 20's or early 30's approached me asking if i'm from Citibank. urgh. do i really have that Citibank look? he aint the first to say that but anyways, to cut the story short, he was pretty damn desperate to get my name and number. to the point that he was still persistently asking for it even though i had already gotten into my car and started to get out of the parking lot.

then the phone rang, to check if i was okay after having a glimpse of my "dramatically-ridiculous-scene".. talk about chivalry or rationality.. pfftt... oh wait, we're in the 21st century.. so scrape off the chivalry acts.. but rationality? though modern technology has made our lives easier (especially the invention of calculators, which have made us all so dependant on it even for simple calculations.. basically not using our brains anymore) doesnt mean that we're not subjected to use our heads to analyze and act on something so obvious? well then again, it all depends on who the person is as well right? double standard.. typical. PFFTT.

thank God it wasnt a robbery or somewhat. or else i wonder how the heck will i be able to answer that phone call. LMAO.
