bro came in and put some box thingy on my table. then i realized, it was an external HDD!!! FINALLY!! koko bought my external hard disk even though we had an argument about it before his KL trip for the comic fiesta.. aint branded but he got a 160GB one with a protective cover for RM190.. ok laa... as long as it serves its' purpose of storing all my garbage.. haha.. well, there goes my RM100.. yea, i finally succeeded in forcing extorting asking my stingy bro to at least sponsor half the price of the HDD.. hmm.. i wonder who can be my next target to sponsor me a Celcom Broadband... tee hee hee...

talk about getting stuff, was at Gurney this evening to hunt for more shoes.. and hopefully able to grab cheap stuff.. but instead, i found myself stuck at the watches department of Parkson.. ogling and salivating at the display glass of the DKNY and Fossil watches.. serious... i was sOooo attracted to 'em.. cos it's really high time for me to get a new watch!! thankfully i didnt embarrass myself cos dear sharon was there, so i took the opportunity to give her some work and tried on a few watches.. =) best thing is, she told me that i can purchase the watches at staff price, which means.. 50% discount!!! whee!!!!! there were some which i really really like.. but most of them were a little to big for my wrist even after the detachable part of the strap was taken off.. sigh.. then we decided to have a look at the other watches at the main Fossil shop itself.. i found one which is not bad and wear-able for any occasion.. BUT.. even with the 50% off, i still don't have the money.. i'm really really tight on cash. and i've got a tonne of things i need to get as well.. sigh.. some other time?

btw, i learned a new hokkien word/phrase today!! it probably isnt something new for most of the penangnites/hokkien ppl..

which means, rice cooker... (dun gimme that look kay...) bare with me, i suck at that language.. haha it sounds funny.. or maybe cos i cant pronounce it correctly.. still, i find that word really amusing and have been using it at every opportunity there is.. for example,

mum : where did you go?
me : i went over to SEC to get the "tien bok keng" (but comes home empty handed)
mum : so, did you buy the rice cooker?
me : i didnt buy the "tien bok keng" cos the salesman said that ... blah blah blah.. so there wont be any new "tien bok keng" in the shop until tomorrow when their lorry comes. so i will have to go over to SEC again tomorrow to buy my "tien bok keng"!
dad : buy what?
me : "tien bok keng"!
dad : what?
mum : rice cooker.

it sounds like some room or something cos if i'm not wrong, the bedroom is called "pang keng" and the toilet is called "chang keng/chai keng" in hokkien, so what makes the "tien bok keng"? LOL.. farney..

it's gonna be my BIG word from now, like...

i know.. i know.. well, it isnt suppose to turn out this flat anyway, before having it straighten.. it looked much better from the front but the back was just totally in a mess.. so i really had to straighten my hair.. i just hope it'll have more shape soon.. sigh.

i asked vin how do i look and he said, "doesnt it make ur face look longer?" why thank you darling. that is so nice of you to "compliment" on not only my hair but my face as well. it's not that i dont already know that i have an exceptionally unusual long face, you had to emphasize on it to make me feel special hor.. haha but then he said he liked it (not sure if he actually does or was just saying it so that i wont go bug him about my hair all the time.. haha) not really used to it though.. but heck, it'll grow in no time.. till then, u ppl will have to bear with my new look whether u like it or not.. haha

btw, results for the final exam is out today!!! i've been looking forward to this day ever since my last paper was over.. haha i've been sort of a nerd the whole of this semester.. rarely went out for food or 'entertainment'.. it wasnt my choice.. but because i was a bit REALLY tight on cash. the government loan for this semester was only about RM700 plus for 5 FREAKING MONTHS.. which means roughly RM140 per month, RM35 per week, RM 5 PER DAY!!! crazy or not..?? u tell me how to survive.. my average spending is about RM500 per month with some extras for my shopping "emergencies".. haha.. how not to rot in my room the whole day surviving on instant noodles and burgers..? my only source of entertainment was downloaded TVB drama series, english series and even taiwan drama series.. so when i run out of shows to watch and had already slept for nearly half the day, all that is left is to study in order to keep my mind functioning properly.

and yes! all my hard work and effort paid off!!

i'm so so SO happy i tell u.. cos when ever someone tells me that they are worried of not being able to maintain their CGPA, i always end up telling them not to expect their pointers to keep increasing by the semester as each semester will definitely be more difficult with killer papers and never-ending assignments. BUT.. for economic students like me, we LOVE to see increasing trends in certain or most of the economic graphs.. well then of course variables like petrol prices would be otherwise la.. haha

and this is my personal micro-time series which shows an upward trend!! nice hor... *GRIN*

i hope my hair will look better or probably other ppl's eyesight to get worse. *crosses fingers and toes*

as usual, i abandon my poor blog to wither the worst of conditions.. haha

well, i had planned on blogging more often once my 3rd semester starts considering that i've not blogged much bout my uni ever since i first got in.. but looks like now it has been 4 months since my 3rd sem started and not even one pitiful picture of my uni being posted up.. except for all my rantings about my pathetic course subjects and the bloody internet connection..

"but really mah... the wireless in my college like shit like that.. not only that, my room is all the way on the third floor and on the highest block summore..how to get decent internet connection?? should i be more hardworking in going up and down those 100m flight of stairs to the hall so that i can online and then be all skin and bones by end of this semester...??"

anyone feeling humane kind enough to sponsor me a Celcom BROADBAND?? i'm willing to be your slave when i'm back in penang.. haha.. i am that desperate.. 'no internet, no life.' lol

T_T it hasnt even been a year yet but it has already died-ed on me TWICE.. this is so depressing.. what's worse is that all my contacts are stored in my phone but not in my sim card.. now i need more money to not only do my shopping, but also to get a new phone.. donkey.

i'm facing a situation of surplus demand in money.. whereby the money demand exceeds the money supply.. how am i suppose to adjust the money supply and interest rate to achieve an equilibrium? what more reach a point of surplus in supply?? I AM NOT BANK NEGARA MALAYSIA. I WANT MONEY. I NEED LOTS OF MONEY. sigh. and i need to start studying now.. exams exams exams.. last paper for the month on tmr night. wish me luck =)

it's been two weeks plus since i got back from the english course and i'm going back to uni on friday!!! T_T

I DUN WANNA GO BACK TO THAT ULU KAMPUNG UNIVERSITY!!!

been working at kumon cos i'm just too lazy to find a new part time job and sadly there wasnt any good 3-day job pay opportunities like the property fair job for Sunway i had been working for.. i had already spent more than half of my pay on the MNG sales on the night i got my pay itself.. and i have yet to do my grocery shopping, shop for 'appropriate' clothing, shop for more shoes!! and yada yada yada.. i am so in need of money..

double SIGH..

going back to uni also means not being able to go for movies, SHOPPING (the MEGA SALES is near!!!!), go 'bersunset', have fun at the beach, go on a holiday, club, REDBOX, bully shawny, send sonia darling off, welcome sookie cookie, and basically just not having any chance to have fun with the girls.. T_T

TRIPLE SIGH.
